Dedications - New Look

I want to start by explaining some changes to the way the site is organized. As you can see, at the bottom of the screen, an embedded music player has popped up! This way you guys can listen to all the songs on here without having to leave the page, with the ability to chose which songs you want to listen to, pop out the music player, etc. To get it started, just click "Click to play all audio posts," and a playlist will pop up. Please leave your impressions in the comments; any feedback is very crucial and greatly appreciated. Furthermore, any links that you see will be download links. You can listen to songs on the player, and then if you like one, right click it and say "Save As" to download.


When yesterday's post came out, I, very rudely, forgot to mention some people. So, to make up for that, I wanted to dedicate a couple of songs to each of them.


Mike Tseng.

Not to be confused with Mike Tzeng. Who happen to have the same birthday. Crazy. This man goes hard, in pretty much everything that he does except Super Smash Bros. I wanna start off with some pretty sick trance, which I've posted before, but I think is worth bringing up again. Not as intense as Krater of Peak 1.1, but then again, nothing is. Still pretty good.

W & W - Alpha

Second, this man really knows how to dance. And he can head iso like no other. So I wanted to give him something to dance to. Here's to him.

Kap Slap - Illamerica Blow




Audrey Stano.

Raised in the hood of Silver Spring with Matt Sartucci, that neighborhood was rough and you can definitely see it in her attitude. She is one badass girl, and don't tolerate no foolishness from anyone. You can find her on the corner thuggin, chillin with the bad-boy rappers. Most of them are named Max. Essentially, she looks and acts like Kreayshawn. So to her I dedicate this remix of Gucci Gucci.

Also, joking aside, she has a pretty damn good voice. I hope she goes all out singing to this version of a timeless classic.

Yuna Ito - My Heart Will Go On




Annie Jeng.

Probably the most musically gifted person I had the pleasure to meet, she's a great friend and a really nice person in general. If you haven't you should meet her. She's also in love with cute things. She'll squeal when she sees a puppy on the street, etc. So here's a song for you Annie; it features a kid with the cutest voice I can imagine. Now it may or may not be about tripping on copious doses of hallucinogens, but that's irrelevant. I think. In any case, the accompanying music is also very good.

M83 - Raconte-Moi Une Histoire

Now, choosing this second song for Annie was pretty damn hard. She loves classical, but she knows way more about that than I ever will, so I don't have anything to offer in that domain. I also send her a lot of music before posting it anywhere, so she also knows a lot of my library. In the end, I ended up with this song, a mashup between Leona Lewis's Collide and Avicii's Fade into Darkness, the later of which I will be posting on its own at a later time due to it's awesomitude.

Wow. It has been quite a while. Like Kyle said, we've been busy, but that's no excuse. We'll always be busy. Just have to be less lazy and make time for this. Much love to him for getting up off his ass and pulling the chair from under the rest of us.

Without further ado, some songs. I've listened to A LOT of music while I've been inactive. I do understand, however, that posting lots of songs per post can be overwhelming and that it would be best to limit it. SO. I'll keep it to 5 songs, try to vary the genre's and see what happens.



I'm gonna start off with one of my favorite songs, Seek Bromance. This song features music from one of my favorite artists, Avicii (aka Tim Berg), but it is not his song per say. Italian DJ Samuele Sartini's Love You Seek ft. Amanda Wilson had it's vocals overlayed and this feel good monster (in my opinion) was born. Enjoy.

While we're listening to female vocals, I just wanted to continue on that track. Tiesto recently made the switch over from trance to almost exclusively house, and even though it's only been a couple of months, he's already shows a lot of promise, and I'm really excited. Featuring Kay, this is definitely a good song to get you in the mood for the weekend.

For a chance of pace, we go to a mellow, semi-depressing yet beautiful song by Florence and the Machine. It's a single that will also be on the upcoming album on November 7th. Don't quite know what it's about, but I'm guessing some sort of drowning/suicide thing. A very emotionally charged song.

Speaking of mellow, here's an awesome song that many of you probably already heard, but that never gets old. Doing what he does best, Deadmau5 (pronounced dead-mouse, ahem) starts off this song with an ambient, minimalist vibe, and proceeds to evolve it into a relaxing trance piece with a great beat and melody.

Finally, a super exciting song. This DJ has some of the best mashups I have ever heard. He's amazing. And surprisingly, every song he makes is free to download at kapslap.com. He also features hour+ continuous mixes of his mashups, which are perfect from leaving on during parties and forgetting about them. This is probably my favorite by him.
